Three articles contributed to the forthcoming Sage Reference volume

Jonathan Pitkin has contributed three articles to the forthcoming Sage Reference volume Music in the Social and Behavioral Sciences: an Encyclopedia, edited by William Forde Thompson and produced by Golson Media. The articles, on 'Cognitive Constraints', 'Gestalt' and 'Illusion’, all deal with areas of music psychology which have had a bearing on Jonathan's own compositional thinking and approach.
The Encyclopedia will be published in August 2014.
