AUDIT


Audit is an online ear training tool developed by Jonathan Pitkin for the Royal College of Music, London. Running within the web browser, it generates practice questions in harmonic discrimination (recognising individual notes within piano chords) for students preparing for assessments. Audit invents and plays 4-part chords of varying degrees of consonance and dissonance, providing an effectively limitless resource. The software is written primarily in JavaScript, and works with responsive layouts on any internet-connected device.
