This Saturday, 6th October, will bring another chance to hear the choir of St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh, perform Jonathan Pitkin's As Kingfishers Catch Fire. The piece will be part of a varied programme which includes music by Philip Moore, Kenneth Leighton, James MacMillan, and another work also commissioned for the choir by the Friends of the Music of St Giles, from Rory Boyle. The concert, part of the cathedral's Sounds on Saturday series, begins at 5.30pm at St Giles.
