The Choir of Trinity Wall Street Church, New York, have included a work by Jonathan Pitkin in their pioneering programme to present contemporary music in liturgical contexts. Cantate Domino, which is published by Oxford University Press as part of its ‘Cantica Nova’ motet collection, was performed alongside improvised chant at Compline on January 13th. The choir is a highly acclaimed professional ensemble, recently receiving a Grammy award nomination.
