This March, the Meadows Chamber Orchestra will revisit the piece they commissioned Jonathan to write in 2008: Mesh, a continuous, 12-minute exploration of resonantly intertwining musical materials, was originally premièred by the orchestra at Edinburgh's Queen's Hall in a performance which was subsequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3. On Sunday March 22nd it will be on the programme once again for the MCO's spring concert at Greyfriars Kirk, alongside Beethoven's Triple Concerto and Shostakovich's Symphony no.1.
