The St George’s Chamber Orchestra, a professional ensemble which aims to bring outstanding musical performances to the doorstep of concert-goers in Beckenham, south-east London, performed Jonathan Pitkin’s ‘...whispering, clamoring...’ at its regular home of St George’s Church, Beckenham, on Saturday May 25th - round the corner from the composer’s home! This string orchestra piece was originally commissioned by Peninsula Arts, Devon, in 2005.
