Jonathan's electronic composition Study no 3: TWIST! , for virtuoso virtual vocalist, has been programmed for this year's Forum Atelier event at IRCAM, Paris. The piece, which makes use of not only IRCAM's Singing Synthesizer, ISiS, but also its Spat5 sound spatialisation software, will be playing on Wednesday March 18th on an ambisonic loudspeaker installation in Studio 2. The IRCAM Forum Workshops bring together artists, researchers, sound engineers and designers from all over the world: they will be treated to an exploration of extremes of speed, agility, precision and stamina that would be beyond the reach of a human performer.
